My restless and curious temperament makes me look daily trends, news and even recall traditions to present shows and MARRY in my lectures.

A true businesswoman, she has managed hundreds of memorable events throughout Brazil, and is an expert wedding planner. She earned a Tourism degree in Brazil and has taken Hospitality extension courses in France, Switzerland and Spain. Vera Simão taught Public Relations at the Anhembi-Morumbi College and the Special Events course for the Business Communication graduate program at ESPM (College of Advertising and Marketing). In 2006, she taught the first Etiquette and Protocol course for the Event Planning graduate program at FAAP (Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation).
She was Director of the Hospitality Learning Center at SENAC (National Commercial Trade School Service) where she implemented the Event Planning graduate program and taught the Etiquette course. Between 1979 and 1982, she was assistant for the Chief Minister of Protocol for the State of São Paulo Government. Between 1993 and 1996, she was the Chief of Protocol and Foreign Relations for São Paulo City Hall.
Currently, Vera Simão organizes the Casar (literally, to wed) fair/boutique that has been held in the city of São Paulo since 2002, uniting the most exclusive range of wedding service vendors in Brazil. Each year the event becomes more popular and in 2006, Casar had more than 99 exhibitors and roughly 8 thousand visitors. In December 2005, she released the book Casar - Do planejamento à celebração em grande estilo (Nuptials - From Planning to Celebrating in High Style). And, in the following year Casar - Caderno de anotações e memórias (Nuptials - Journal of Annotations and Memories) a scrapbook designed especially for engaged couples.

Starting in 2007, all Vera's experience in wedding and social event planning will be compiled in a course at SENAC - with the same title as her book. Mark your calendar!
